Linda Gail Lewis reunites once
again with Rockin' on Heavens Door for a limited series of shows for 2012. The sister of legendary Rock n' Roll artist
'The Killer' Jerry Lee Lewis toured with ROHD in Holland and Belgium in March/April 2011 to sell out audiences and
we we pleased to welcome her to the UK for her first theatre tour. Linda has had an amazing career to date and has worked
with some of the greatest artists in the music industry. She recorded with Van Morrison and guitarist Albert Lee amongst others
performed with 'Shakin' Stevens' and has her own solo recording career. Her blistering piano style is second
to none. The stories and anecdotes of her life are spellbinding. The tale of when The Beatles met Jerry Lee for the first
time when she was in the same room and stood there shocked as John Lennon feel to his knees and said "Jerry Lee Lewis.........MY
HERO" and kissed the sole of Jerry's boot. Linda also met Elvis Presley and stated that he was "the most
un- photogenic man she had ever seen". When asked why she made such a surprising comment, she replied smiling "
no pictures ever got across exactly how good looking Elvis Presley was in real life" Linda continues to work along side
her brother in America and tours Europe and Scandinavia with her own show. On this tour she is along side her daughter
Annie Marie Dolan who has her own recording and singing career in her own right. In 1998 Linda had a book published telling
the story of her life entitled ' The Devil, me and Jerry Lee' which became a best seller and is now a collectors item.
Linda continues to travel the world playing to her army of loyal fans who she loves but treasures the time she can return
home to Atlanta, Georgia to spend time with husband ex Stax records promoter Eddie Braddock. Linda's career is long
and varied but continues to fly the flag of Rock n' Roll. She loves the life and says "If people still want to come
and see me, I'll keep coming to see them" What a lovely lady.
